  NOTES

 The points are calculated for each pupil.

 A pupil in the 1st column ( >480 ) will have scored in excess of 480pts.
 Those in the 2nd column will have scored between 421 and 480pts, etcetera.


 The points scale from which the individual totals are calculated is
        A=120  B=100  C=80  D=60  E=40  N/U=0

 These figures are based only on those pupils who had prior scores.

This table shows a breakdown of the A-level points achieved by individual pupils according to various prior ability bandings (GCSE means) and also banded according to ranges of A-level points achieved.
Thus it is possible to see both how many pupils and the percentage of pupils in ability band 4.5-5.0 who obtained A-level points within the range 61-120. In this case 4 and 5.6% respectively.
